David - not yet known as Nahard at that time - begins to learn oriental dance at the age of 5 with his aunt, a traditional dance teacher at Mactoubha Dance School in Mostaganem in Algeria.
She gave him the passion and the perception of all the richness of this dance. Thus he discovers in oriental dance a unique way of self-expression which will be always present for the rest of his life.
When settled in France, he discovers another approach to dancing, much more modern, that he will strive to integrate in order to unify these two views. For Nahard, dance is - above all else - a mean of communion between different cultures, based on the same appreciatiation of Art.
When in Paris, he meets Fatima Chekkor who teaches him the finer details of the techniques of modern Oriental Dance. Always striving to improve himself, Nahard still deepens his skills by regularly attending courses with great oriental dancers.
He performs as a one-man-show dancer in renowned oriental restaurants and private events.
Today, Nahard shares the theory and his practical knowledge with employees of Big Companies as well private persons, where his warm and friendly approach helps students of all levels to acquire self-confidence and enable them to develop more freely their creative skills.
His teachings emphasize a precise technical practise and the development of a fine musical comprehension, always giving priority to the transmission of emotion through dance.
